Karter Davis

Experience

Karter Davis was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 2025 with courtroom experience and a strong background in public service. Prior to joining HPK, Karter served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office, where he represented the State in criminal proceedings and handled matters in the Juvenile Division. His experience provided extensive exposure to courtroom advocacy, legal research, motion practice, negotiations, and trial preparation.

During law school, Karter expanded his legal experience through an externship with the United States Attorney’s Office in Boise and an internship with the Boise City Attorney’s Office. These positions provided experience in both federal and municipal law, allowing him to work alongside seasoned attorneys on a wide range of legal matters while further developing his litigation and advocacy skills.

Karter’s background in prosecution and public service has equipped him with a practical, detail-oriented approach to legal representation and a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy.
